Raising awareness and improving Feral Cats’ lives through education and understanding.
Are you feeding Homeless Feral Cats?
Many of us feed homeless Feral Cats every day. Some of us provide care in our own neighborhoods or at our job sites. Others travel to parking lots, abandoned buildings, or other sites. The work we do is kept secret, as if we are doing something wrong. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH FEEDING FERAL CATS. Caring for something you have never touched is an act of unconditional love and should be commended.
Feral Cats are the less fortunate inhabitants of the cat world. They are the “poor” and “needy.” These living creatures are the result of human carelessness, abandonment, irresponsibility, and failure to sterilize. They endure harsh circumstances just to survive and are often treated as if they have no value at all; they are often left to fend for themselves. Society has created this problem; yet, many act as if the solution is to ignore it, thinking that it will go away.
No matter what your viewpoints are, Feral Cats are a part of the world in which we live. Ignoring or destroying Feral Cats is not going to solve the problem of homelessness and overpopulation. In one way or other, each of us is going to deal with some issue related to Feral Cats. It may be related to the neighborhood in which you live, the parking lot at work, or somewhere you take your children.
What is the solution?
The solution begins with education, understanding, and a willingness to address the real problem with real solutions that work. It starts with one person at a time, one day at a time.
It starts with one KITTY ANGEL, and that KITTY ANGEL is you!
IN SUMMARY
Although the issues presented are in the “Feral Cat World”, it is the hope of Kitty Angels that this information will inspire you to look deep within yourself to be more compassionate and accepting of the less fortunate and misunderstood. If one person makes one positive change today, it would encourage another person to change, creating a domino effect. This world we live in today faces many challenges such as bullying, violence, hate crimes, etc. We need to make positive changes. We want to see a world with goodwill, compassion and kindness for others. Small changes bring big results. Have compassion and kindness for the less fortunate knowing that they will returned to you in ways you could never dream of. Helping one Feral Cat today is only the beginning.
